We can all sometimes find ourselves in peculiar and uncertain places; in need to work out what is going on, wanting to express our thoughts and feelings without being judged.

I specialise in supporting clients dealing with bereavement and other forms of loss. I also have experience helping people with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem and attachment issues among others.

I come from a war torn country and have worked with clients from multi cultural and multi faith backgrounds. I have a listening ear for all differences.

I have been working as a bereavement counsellor for 17 years.  I began working online during the lockdown. Grief can be a difficult and lonely place and it can also unearth other unresolved or ‘dormant’ issues, such as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem and attachment issues to name a few.

However, bereavement can also be a starting point to self-discovery and healing.  As a counsellor, I will give you space to explore and talk through your difficulties in a safe, non-judgemental and confidential environment.

As an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) I adhere to the BACP Ethical Framework and my work is regularly supervised.  I am also a professional member of the Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy Online (ACTO) both as an online counsellor and supervisor (one to one and group).

I use an integrative approach in work with my clients, encompassing psychodynamic, person-centred and relational psychotherapy depending on my client’s needs. I listen to my client’s feelings, thoughts and bodily sensations and support the client in exploring and understanding them.

Online Supervisor Profile

I specialise in supporting clients dealing with bereavement and other forms of loss. I also have experience helping people with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem and attachment issues among others.

I come from a war torn country and have worked with clients from multi cultural and multi faith backgrounds. I have a listening ear for all differences.

I qualified as an online supervisor in January 2023. I have a small practice working one to one and with groups. I enjoy supervision and am told that I am open and approachable. I respect my supervisees and welcome their different theoretical approaches and unique personalities.

In both individual and group supervision, I am drawn to the Seven Eyed model, as it gives me a helicopter view of what is happening in the room between my supervisee and their clients. I also apply the four level process in all contexts of supervision as it equips me to monitor and support supervisee’s developmental level of competence.

I use an integrative approach for supervision; I draw my knowledge of psychodynamic, person centred and relational approaches in order to equip me with the best possible view in both individual and group supervision.

In group supervision, I am drawn to Inskipp and Proctor Type 3, the ‘Co- operative Group’, where group members are active co-supervisors, taking responsibility in what they want from the group and how they would like to be supervised. This way of working doesn’t mean that the supervisor has a less active role in leading the group and supporting them to achieve what they all need to get from it. It is a more relational way of working, which requires from the supervisor to be in tune with what is going on in the group, monitoring and facilitating.
