Since completing my my training as a mental health nurse in 1987 and my counselling training in 1993, I have worked as a counsellor, lecturer in counselling and clinical supervisor with posts within the NHS, colleges, private practice and third sector organisations. I have also written text books, counselling qualifications and worked with both BACP and SQA. I was the Mental Health Lead at a large college and External Examiner for several university counselling courses. I am currently the Head of Clinical Practice and Safeguarding at a counselling service in Glasgow.
My core training was in Person Centred counselling but I practice integrative therapy as a result of my additional training and experience.
Finding the right counsellor can feel overwhelming when there is so much choice. As a BACP accredited counsellor with 30 years of experience, I have supported many people throughout a wide range of challenges in their lives. I work using a range of models and approaches which are shaped around the needs of the client.

I use my experience from my counselling practice and as a counselling lecturer to connect with, support and help develop supervisees. I do this using recognised models of supervision which are shaped around the needs and wants of the supervisee.
Clinical supervision:
One 60-minute session - £55
One 90-minute session - £82.50
One 60 minute session for trainees - £40
