I am an integrative/pluralistic therapist. What this means in that I have a number of tools and skills that I can use depending on who you are as an individual. we all work in different ways, and one size doesn't fit all. I prefer to build relationship with you, agree what we will work on and what will suit us as we move forward together. The different ways that I work include Person centred, Gestalt, CBT, mindfulness, creativity, sandtray, and inner child work. I am an accredited Association of Christians in Counselling (ACC) counsellor.
I love seeing transformation in peoples lives. I've been on such a journey of personal development over many years, I love walking with people in their own journey towards living in who they are designed to be. This does mean exploring, being brave in facing things together, and experimenting with new ways of being. I use my natural curiosity and intuition in my work which can often lead to new awareness and deeper understanding of yourself. I also laugh with my clients. It can be hard emotional work at times and I find humour is welcome where appropriate. I am an ordinarily extraordinary person who has seen my own life transformed with therapy skills. I am now working with other fantastic people to make changes in theirs.
I work in an integrative/pluralistic way. This means that I have a number of tools and skills which I weave together to form a way of working to suit you as my client. I believe we are all individually and uniquely made.
I like to build a relationship with you, discover together what the issues are and commit to each other to do the working moving forward. We begin with a free phone call and then arrange mutual availability for sessions if you would like to continue.
