I am a Person Centred Counsellor trained integratively with Transactional Analysis. I work with a strong awareness of the role of physical sensations and illness in the experience of anxiety and trauma. I seek to help Clients improve their contact with and regard for their self.
I work with warmth to help Clients draw on their own resources and recognise their own needs and desires. I bring my own insights, resources and knowledge to the work and offer these freely. I recognise distress as something affecting all aspects of our lives so therapy must attend to the whole person and their relationships. The duration, pace, direction and depth of work are the Client's choice and I am equipped to work across the range of possibilities.
