I began my counselling career in the early 1990s after completing a Diploma in Counselling, followed by an MA in Counselling Studies. Over the past three decades, I’ve worked with individuals, couples and groups across a wide range of settings, continually developing my skills through further training. My experience has deepened my belief in the capacity people have to heal and grow when offered genuine understanding and support. This long-standing commitment to learning and reflective practice continues to shape the way I work.
In person-centred counselling you can expect a warm, non-judgmental, and supportive environment where you are truly heard. The focus is on your experiences and feelings and empowering you to explore, understand, and find your own solutions. I will provide empathy, acceptance, and genuine understanding, helping you build self-awareness, confidence, and personal growth at your own pace.
My approach to counselling is person-centred, grounded in empathy, authenticity and respect. I believe that each person has the capacity for growth and self-understanding when given the right conditions. Our work together is collaborative and reflective creating a space to explore your experiences, make sense of what has shaped you, and find new ways to relate to yourself and others. Drawing on over 25 years of practice, I integrate insights from individual, group and couples work to meet your unique needs. My aim is to support you in developing greater self-awareness, confidence and connection, enabling meaningful and lasting change.
Individual Adults
I work within the community and have supported clients experiencing distress linked to a wide range of experiences and behaviours both past and present.
My fees are £50 per 60 minute session.
